Dwight is a Seattle, Washington native. He received a B.S. from Western Washington University and a Ph.D. with Guillermo Bazan at UC, Santa Barbara. After completing an American Cancer Society Postdoctoral Fellowship with Chad Mirkin at Northwestern, Dwight joined the faculty of the Chemistry Department at U of T in 2009. When not thinking about or doing science, Dwight is likely to be sailing, downhill skiing, or trying to find a point on Lake Ontario that breaks like Rincon.
